Refund policy

Non-Returnable Items

  • Orders that include only lids or only containers unless compatibility is confirmed before purchase.
  • Items that are used, opened, or removed from original packaging.
  • Products ordered outside of intended use (e.g., lids meant for deli containers used on heavy-duty bases).

Eligible Returns

  • Full sets (lid + container) with verified compatibility.
  • Unopened items returned within 14 days of delivery.
  • Orders with documented shipping errors or product defects.

Return Conditions

  • Customers must confirm product compatibility before ordering. We recommend checking the "Works with" section on the product page or contacting support.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the error is on our side.
  • A restocking fee may apply for partial returns.

Order Review

  • Orders flagged as partial (e.g., only lids or only containers) will receive a follow-up message before shipment.
  • If the product is not suitable for the intended application, we may recommend canceling or adjusting the order to avoid issues.

How to Start a Return

To start a return, contact us at support@protakeout.com.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label and instructions. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.
